Psychic Abilities

There are many types of psychic abilities. In this blog post I am going to detail some of them.

Animal Telepathy. This is what you may know as the popular pet psychic. This in reference to the power to communicate with a variety of animals.

Astral Projection. This is the ability to leave one's body and use one's astral body to go to another location without the physical body moving.



Aura Reading. This is the talent to see and read people's energy fields or what is known as their auras.

Channeling. This is when one acts as a channel for an outside intelligence and allows that entity to speak through them.

Clairaudience. This is the ability to "hear" someone far way, for example thousands of miles away.

Dowsing. This is when you use a rod or stick to discover a water source. It is also known as water witching.

E.S.P. This stands for extra sensory perception. This is when one has the ability to divine information external to oneself without using the five senses.

Levitation. This is the ability to rise one's body off the ground by mind and psychic powers alone.

Precognition. This is when one is able to know the future by psychic powers alone.

Psychometry. Some may know this power as object reading. This is when you are able to divine information such as thoughts and feelings through an object.

Pyrokinesis. This the ability to start fires with ones mind.

Telekinesis. Also known as psychokinesis, the ability to move objects with one's mind.

Telepathy. The ability to communicate mind-to-mind with another.
